Power cut in Longfield

Nearly 1,200 homes were left without power in Longfield.

A fault on an underground electricity cable has been blamed for the outage in the village, which happened at 7.09pm.

The company initially said engineers were on site and power was expected to be restored by 9.30pm.

It later said it had restored power to the "majority of homes" at 9pm and would be working through the night to connect the remaining properties.
