A MAN has appeared before a court charged with the murder of a 36-year-old woman.

Steven Stallion, 45, of Sheridan Court, Temple Hill, Dartford, stood before the town's magistrates on Wednesday accused of killing Victoria Tomsett.

She was found dead in a flat in Sheridan Court in the early hours of last Saturday morning. A post mortem examination showed she had died as a result of a head injury.

Stallion was remanded in custody to appear before a judge at Maidstone Crown Court on Wednesday, November 7.
