The British television sitcom starred and was written by comedian Jack Whitehall. It started back in 2012 and was produced by Tiger Aspect Productions for the BBC.

After eight years since the last episode aired in 2014, the BBC confirmed the comedy would return with a six-part series next year, and it is currently in production.

Bobby had his first audition for the show in May 2022, and found out he had got the part in early June.

Prior to landing the role, he secured a place at Arts Educational Schools in London, where stars such as Marvel actor Lashana Lynch and musician Yungblud attended.

Bobby also previously had a role in Masters of the Air for Apple TV, which was produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg.

Regarding his time at the college, he said: "My time at Miskin was unbelievable. It was the best three years of education in my life, and they really helped me find myself and my passion for acting."

Another former Miskin student is Clair Norris, who plays Bernadette Taylor in the soap EastEnders, as is movie star, producer and Bond girl Gemma Arterton, from Gravesend, and her sister Hannah, who starred in Walking on Sunshine.

Bobby said: "I cannot speak highly enough of the acting course tutors. They spent so much time to make sure each actor felt cared for and pushed every single one of us to the max to make sure we achieved the best we could. I am forever grateful to them.”
