Group captured attacking girl in Dartford in 'disgusting' video shared online

A "disgusting" video of a group of girls attacking another young lady has appeared online.

The short clip, which KentOnline is choosing not to publish, shows three people walk up on the girl and her male friend from behind before pulling her hair, throwing her to the ground and kicking and punching her in Dartford's Central Park.

The victim's friend attempts to protect her throughout the assault, which happened on Tuesday, as the group continue to hit her on the floor while her friend tries to intervene.

Another boy, dressed in a black coat, cycles over to help the victim towards the end of the clip, telling the group of girls to "get off her".

Despite his efforts, the girls continue the beating and a loud thud can be heard as one of the attackers kicks the defenceless victim in the head.

One parent shared the video on Facebook and said she was "fuming" at the young girls, who were dressed in school uniform, as well as the "scumbags" who stood by and filmed the attack.

The post slamming the group of girls has been shared more than 2,000 times.

"During the incident one girl is reported to have been assaulted and she was assessed at the scene by a medical crew.
