Derelict building catches fire

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire in a derelict building on Sunday, November 16.

Crews from Dartford, Thames-side and an aerial ladder platform from Greenwich were called to the scene above Orpington Car Stereos in Lowfield Street, Dartford, at about 11.20pm.

The area was cordoned off but officers managed to contain the fire in one room and there were no injuries.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
