Youths quizzed after tyres are slashed

TWO teenage boys are being questioned by police after 12 cars had their tyres slashed in a Kent city.

The pair - aged 16 and 17 - were arrested shortly after 1am today near the Wincheap and Thanington Road junction in Canterbury.

There have been reports of slashed tyres on vehicles in Martyrs Field Road, Heaton Road, Cow Lane and Maiden Lane.
