Traffic chaos in Canterbury city centre after two car accident

A two car collision in Canterbury, caused serious traffic congestion in the city centre on Thursday afternoon.

Police had to close St Martin's Hill for two hours shortly after 4pm when a Peugeot 206 and Fiat Seicento collided near the junction with Warwick Road.

Firefighters had to cut one man from the wreckage and both he and another man and women were taken to hospital with what police say were ‘non life-threatening’ injuries.

There was traffic chaos around Canterbury on Thursday evening with the closure of the Littlebourne Road in both directions.
