Crash closes Stone Street at Petham after multiple pile-up.

A busy road into Canterbury had to be closed this morning after a three vehicle pile-up which resulted in a driver being taken to hospital.

It happened shortly after 8.20am in Stone Street, Petham, near the junction of Lime Kiln Lane, and involved a Peugeot 208, a Ford Fiesta and a Renault Kangoo van which were all travelling towards Canterbury.

The van driver was taken to the William Harvey Hospital with minor injuries.

The road was closed for a several hours while the damaged vehicles were recovered.
