A LITTER of five dead newborn puppies was found dumped at Kent University.

An RSPCA spokeswoman said they were so young they still had their eyes closed when they were found in Rutherford College car park in Canterbury.

It was not known how the puppies, which were light grey, had died. The University’s CCTV system has been checked but has revealed nothing.

The puppies were discovered at 2pm on Sunday.

The RSPCA wants to hear from anyone with information and can be contacted on 08705 555999. All calls will be treated in confidence.
