Foster Christian charged with double murder after Canterbury deaths

A man has been charged with the double murder of two people in Canterbury.

Foster Christian, 53, was arrested at the scene of the deaths in Dickens Avenue on Tuesday night.

Natasha Sadler, 40, and Simon Gorecki, 47, were both found dead following the suspected stabbing.

Christian is also charged with two counts of GBH after Connaugh Harris, 20, and a 16-year-old who cannot be named, were also injured during the incident.

The teenager was rushed to hospital in a critical condition, but is now said to be stable.

Connaugh was discharged from hospital after treatment.

Christian, who police say was known to the victims, has been remanded in custody and will appear at Medway magistrates tomorrow via video link.

Two women, aged 18 and 35, were arrested in the early hours of this morning and remain in custody.
