Police forensics called to Castle Street in Canterbury

Police and ambulance attended an incident at an apartment block in Canterbury.

They were called to flats built into the Castle Street multi-storey car park at 11.55am.

Officers and a forensic investigations team spent much of the afternoon at the scene.

Police were seen going in and out of a flat at the western end of the complex where Castle Street meets Gas Lane near the Norman castle.

A police spokesman confirmed they were alerted by ambulance crews dealing with a "medical incident".
