Police and ambulance attended an incident at an apartment block in Canterbury.
They were called to flats built into the Castle Street multi-storey car park at 11.55am.
Officers and a forensic investigations team spent much of the afternoon at the scene.
Police were seen going in and out of a flat at the western end of the complex where Castle Street meets Gas Lane near the Norman castle.
A police spokesman confirmed they were alerted by ambulance crews dealing with a "medical incident".
