EuroCanterbury Ladies remain fourth in the Investec Women’s Premier Division table despite a 3-1 defeat at Leicester on Saturday.

They trailed to a seventh minute open-play strike by Anne Panter, but South African international Jen Wilson (pictured) drew them level before half-time after converting a penalty corner.

Hannah Macleod restored the home side’s lead four minutes after half-time and Lucy Brown’s 53rd minute corner conversion condemned EuroCanterbury to their fifth loss of the season.

Leicester were the only top four side to win, Canterbury are still four points clear of nearest challengers Olton and West Warwicks who drew 3-3 at home to leaders Reading.
