The trial of DJ Barry Bethell on charges of sexual assault and downloading child pornography is now not likely to start until tomorrow.
The case, at Canterbury Crown Court, is expected to last two weeks.
Bethell, 65, of Kimberley Grove, Seasalter, denies the charges.
He has been in custody since his arrest earlier this year.
Bethell, a TV and radio personality, is a former Slimfast slimmer of the year and appeared in the company's advertisements.
