A291 Herne Bay Road closed in both directions near Sturry after crash

A busy A-road was shut in both directions after a crash this evening.

The A291 Herne Bay Road was closed near Sturry after the two vehicle crash between Sweechgate and Popes Lane shortly after 6pm.

It's not yet known if anyone was injured.

The road was reopened shortly before 7pm.
