Car crashes through Travelodge window in London Road, Bromley

A car has crashed into the front of a town centre hotel.

Police were called at around 2.11pm today to reports that a vehicle had gone into the Travelodge in London Road, Bromley.

Firefighters were called at 2.29pm to the scene.

Crews worked to make the area safe, with around 30 people being evacuated from the hotel.

A 25-metre safety cordon was also put in place as a precaution.

No injuries have been reported.
