After producing two decent defensive displays in the last week, Ashford Town manager Steve Lovell is looking for his side to find the right balance when they travel to face Met Police in Ryman League Division 1 South on Saturday.

Unbeaten so far this league campaign, the Police will provide stern opposition at the Imber Court Sports Club, but Lovell is hopefully Town can match them.

“Met Police are always tough on their own ground,” Lovell said. “It’ll be a good test for us as we try to find that line between being too attacking and too defensive.
