Teen kicked and held under water by 'hoodies'

A teenager has been treated in hospital after he was kicked, jumped on and held under water while walking through an Ashford park.

The 18-year-old was attacked in Victoria Park, Jemmett Road, by an unknown number of men between 1am and 1.30am on Saturday.

One of the offenders is described as being fat and wearing a grey hoodie, another had dark hair and also a grey hoodie.

It is not known which direction the group went in after the attack.

The teenager was taken to the William Harvey Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
