Police hunt after alleyway attack

A TEENAGE girl was attacked as she walked through an alleyway in a Kent town.

Police are investigating an assault on a 17-year-old woman near the graveyard at the junction of Beecholme Drive and Rectory Way, Ashford.

The girl received cuts and bruises in the attack, but nothing was stolen from her.

Police conducted house-to-house inquiries in the area, and the scene was cordoned off while crime scene investigators searched.

The man is described as white, aged in his late 20s to early 30s, about 6ft tall, with short dark shaved hair.

He was wearing matching hooded zip up top and track suit bottoms in black or navy blue, black and white trainers and spoke with a local accent.
