A safe and fun night out with celebrity guests every week - that is the promise of managers of a nightclub opening in Ashford next month who say it will be the largest in Kent.

Strawberry Moons, which already has clubs in Maidstone and Regent Street, London, opens on Friday, July 11, at the former M20 nightclub at Eureka Park.

General manager Tom Geylani said the venue will offer people a safe and fun night out with celebrity guests every week.

He said: “We’ve won the Safe Socialising Scheme award for three years in a row.

“We have a strict door policy and a no chav, no drug tolerance, because customers like to have a safe night out on a Friday and a Saturday. That’s one of our successes.”

The club has five downstairs bars. There is an open upstairs VIP lounge serving dim sum steamed food baskets.

Mr Geylani said the company has spent “millions” on renovations and a mezzanine bar and stage with professional dancers will add to the clubbing experience.

He added: “Strawberry Moons is visited by celebrities week in week out.

"There will be celebrities there on the opening night but we’ve had to make promises to their publicity people not to mention names.”
