A fire has almost completely destroyed a stable block near Headcorn Aerodrome.
Firefighters were called to the blaze close to the airfield in Smarden yesterday evening.
But no injuries to any animals or people have been reported.
Crews from Ashford, Cranbrook, Tenterden and Maidstone were all involved in bringing the fire under control, which is believed to have started due to an electrical fault.
Four appliances, a water unit and a total of 20 firefighters attended the blaze in Shenley Road just outside the village at 8.40pm.
It took them two and a half hours to finally bring the fire at the timber-framed single storey stable block under control and left the scene an hour later at 12.10am.
Crews used two hose reels and a main jet to try and protect adjacent caravans.
But one caravan was completely destroyed and 70% of the stables measuring 15m x 20m have been damaged by the incident.
