Investigators are still trying to confirm what caused the death of a man found in a derelict bungalow.

Stephen Covey, 46, was found in the property at 169 Kingsnorth Road, South Ashford, an inquest heard on Wednesday.

Coroner’s officer David Lewis told the hearing that a post mortem examination had been held but cause of death was still pending analysis.

The inquest at Dover heard that Mr Covey’s body had been found on Tuesday, April 21 and he had been identified by fingerprints.

Mr Covey was of no fixed address and the inquest was adjourned for a full hearing at a date to be fixed.

Police had said they were not treating the death as suspicious.
