Visitors to the Rare Breeds Centre in Woodchurch during the school half-term holiday can expect to enjoy seeing some high-flying fun.

The centre’s resident barn owls, JoJo and Fudge, along with Reggie the harris hawk and Rollo, the European eagle owl, will be taking to the skies.

Handler Luke Sorrell said: “We hope that the weather will be kind to us and that we will be able to fly the birds daily at 2pm in the main paddock.

“If the conditions aren’t right for flying then I will walk around with the birds and I am happy to answer any questions that the children might have.”
