Police are appealing for witnesses to an accident in which a driver suffered serious injuries.

It happened in Trinity Road, Ashford, when a Jaguar and a Nissan Almeria collided.

The road was closed as both drivers were trapped in their vehicles. One suffered serious injuries and had to be taken to a London hospital for treatment.

The accident was at around 11.40pm on Saturday, December 29.

Officers investigating it would like to speak the occupants of a third vehicle which was possibly at the scene moments earlier.
